Yamel Thompson is an Executive and Creative Producer from Mexico City living in Los Angeles. She is the founder of creative studio Agüita.
She started her career in 2016 as a TV Documentary producer. In 2019 she moved into advertising and branded production crafting campaigns for brand
s such as, Nike, Apple, Spotify, Billboard, and Facebook.
In 2020 she created Agüita alongside her producing partner Veronica Leon.
Now also a commercial production company, Agüita started as a creative studio in the music video world working with artists such as Bad Bunny, Rosalia, Travis Scott, Chrisitna Aguilera, amongst others.
Yamel’s and Agüita’s work have been featured in Dazed, Highsnobiety, Billboard, Pitchfork, Rolling Stone, Variety and Remezcla.
